RF / Systems Engineer

Role Overview

The RF/Systems Engineer is the technical backbone of our RF architecture strategy. You will own link-budget analysis, RF subsystem integration, measurement planning, and root-cause debugging on the bench. This role requires deep signal-processing knowledge, hands-on lab skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers on RF best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own RF architecture design, link-budget calculations, and system performance specifications for C-UAS and EW platforms
  • Lead RF subsystem integration (RF chains, antennas, matching networks, filters, power amplifiers)
  • Perform measurements using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and power meters
  • Document test plans, measurement procedures, and analysis reports; guide technicians on bench activities
  • Collaborate with firmware/software engineers on signal processing and control loop integration
  • Provide technical input to design reviews, vendor selection, and manufacturing acceptance testing

Required Qualifications

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom Engineering
  • 5–10+ years of hands-on RF, wireless, radar, or test/integration engineering
  • Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, power meters, and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to document test plans, mentor team members, and communicate technical findings clearly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in radar, UAV/drone RF systems, or counter-UAS technologies
  • Hands-on experience with antenna design, matching networks, and PCB layout for RF circuits
  • MATLAB/Python scripting for test automation and signal analysis

Electronics Integration Engineer

Role Overview

The Electronics Integration Engineer is responsible for hardware assembly, PCB bring-up, power integrity, harnessing, and module-level debugging. You will work at the bench, manage component procurement, support repeatable builds, and ensure all assemblies meet design and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PCB bring-up, component assembly, harnessing, and module-level testing
  • Perform hands-on soldering, rework, and mechanical integration with high precision
  • Debug power integrity issues, thermal problems, and component-level failures using oscilloscopes and bench tools
  • Build test fixtures and fixtures for repeatable assembly and validation
  • Support schematic review, BOM validation, and assembly drawing interpretation
  • Maintain ESD discipline, label assemblies, manage component inventory, and document assembly procedures
  • Collaborate with RF, firmware, and technician teams to ensure seamless module integration

Required Qualifications

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 3–8 years of hands-on electronics development, test, manufacturing support, or lab work
  • Expert-level soldering, rework, harnessing, and mechanical assembly skills
  • Ability to read schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and work from design specifications
  • Strong ESD discipline, neatness, and process-driven approach to assembly and testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-frequency PCB layout and RF module assembly
  • Hands-on experience with power integrity analysis and thermal management
  • Familiarity with defense/aerospace manufacturing standards and traceability requirements

Firmware / Software Engineer

Role Overview

The Firmware/Software Engineer owns embedded firmware development, control software, test automation, data logging, and operator GUI design. You will bridge hardware and software integration, build reliable test frameworks, and ensure systems are maintainable and testable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, FPGAs, and real-time systems
  • Build Python-based test automation scripts and calibration tools for system bring-up and validation
  • Design and implement data logging interfaces and operator GUI for system control and monitoring
  • Manage version control (Git), implement CI/CD pipelines, and maintain code documentation
  • Debug hardware/software interaction issues, support root-cause analysis, and document findings
  • Collaborate with RF and electronics engineers on signal processing, control loops, and system integration

Required Qualifications

  • B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 3–7+ years of hands-on embedded firmware or systems software development
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Git version control and basic CI/CD practices
  • Ability to build test automation frameworks, logging interfaces, and automation scripts
  • Good understanding of hardware/software interaction, debug loops, and real-time constraints
  • Comfortable working with instrument APIs and automation frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.Tech in embedded systems or computer science
  • Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) or bare-metal embedded development
  • Familiarity with signal processing concepts and DSP libraries
  • Experience with FPGA development (Verilog/VHDL)
  • Prior experience in defense/aerospace software development

Technician / Lab Assistant

Role Overview

The Technician / Lab Assistant is a critical force multiplier for the engineering team. You will manage lab operations, support assembly and testing, maintain equipment and inventory, and ensure all work meets design and manufacturing standards. This role requires discipline, attention to detail, and strong process adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support PCB assembly, soldering, and rework under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Prepare and organize lab benches, test fixtures, and equipment
  • Manage component inventory, BOMs, parts labeling, and traceability records
  • Prepare and test cables, harnesses, and interconnects
  • Support thermal chamber setup, environmental testing preparation, and packaging
  • Follow procedures exactly, maintain ESD discipline, and escalate issues immediately
  • Assist with data logging, test documentation, and record keeping
  • Learn from senior engineers and support continuous improvement in lab processes

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics, ITI in Electronics/Mechanical, or B.Tech with hands-on lab experience
  • 2–5 years of electronics assembly, test support, or lab operations experience
  • Strong soldering and rework skills (or willingness to certify in IPC-A-610)
  • Basic familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
  • High level of discipline, neatness, and attention to detail
  • ESD awareness and commitment to safety and quality procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
